St. Patrick's Day Tablescape

I've been working on two tablescapes this week but the sceond isn't finished yet. Of course that one is the one I wanted to post, but oh well! I'm linking in to Tablescape Thursday on Susan's Between Naps on the Porch. Please visit her to see all the other wonderful table settings. Such inspiration.

It's still a few weeks away but we found these cute St. Patrick's Day placemats and napkins at TJ Maxx last week and I couldn't wait to put together a tablescape with them.

I love the way the green looks against the black table.

All the rest of the plates, chargers, etc. I had already. I've used them in other tablescapes.

The little pot-of-gold is a pot from Tanzania, and the "gold" consists of coins that Husband has brought back in his pockets from his mission trips around the world.

Rerun always shows up when someone is in the kitchen.

I changed the votive holder at the last minute. I wasn't sure which one I liked best.

  2. I think a little leprechaun must have left his pot of gold on your green inspired table. I love all the different shades and tones of green. They look so becoming. The cutwork napkins are very festive!

  5. You have inspired me to try a black tablecloth for my St. Pat's table this year (since I don't have a beautiful black table like you!) I LOVE the colour of the green placemats with the black! Your centerpiece is perfect - a bit of spring and a bit o' the green!
