First, thanks to Kelly Howard for telling me about the milkglass dish set we found last week at an estate sale. They are made by Indiana Glass co. and are the Harvest design. Second, Join Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
This past weekend we found the same exact snack sets for much more at a different estate sale. I convinced Husband not to get them. We only need so many at a time and I'd rather have a good deal.
And because Husband liked these so much he decided to do a tablescape with them.
Husband loves the contrast idea of the black and white so that is where he started. But then he wanted a shock of color. The cupcakes are French Vanilla with vanilla frosting. The fruit is always bright.
Husbands favorite color combination is the blue and orange. It worked really well here with the black and white.
Thanks for visiting and make sure you check out the other tablescapes at Between Naps on the Porch.

Love the milkglass, I just snagged 6 of the goblets at a Goodwill recently and I have a few cups and saucers...Now I have something else to look for... Husband did a great job with his tablescape!!! That black table is gorgeous!!!
I like the pops of color against the traditional black/white table setting. And I love the milkglass!

I like the pops of colors too. It makes it very contemporary looking yet classic with the milkglass and your wedding topper. The orange cupcake really stands out. It makes you want to try it right away. Love the blues and oranges together. Delightful.
Husband has a great eye for balance and color. Thank you for sharing the charming design. Cherry Kay
OK first... it's just great to me that your husband did this with you! How much fun is that?
My favorite thing is that cake topper. I'm crazy about it and love how you included it.
What a pretty table!
I do so love the topper! It's priceless. It is all so graphic and eye catching. Love it.
Love the black and white with the bursts of color. It looks great together. That cupcake sure looks good!
I've seen a lot of this milk glass design (grapes), but yours is the first I've seen with footed cups and sherbets. I love footed dishes-enjoy!
You really did a great job putting everything together! I love all of the milk glass. Have a nice weekend, Mary
