I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
Make sure to check out all the other great tables.
Husband and I went to an estate sale last Saturday. And the Saturday before. It seems to be our hobby these days since we can't sleep in, to go to estate sales. Two weeks ago he bought this lovely set of china. It is "Chintz" by Sango. It has such a lovely delicate pink rose all over. The lady was selling her mother's estate and she said it had originally been a set for twelve. There are complete settings left only for ten. But no chips or cracks. So lovely.

The silverware is the same rose pattern from previous tablescapes.
The small square tablecloth on the gigantic table is from Syria. We didn't have a solid pink cloth and couldn't find one at the stores. I guess we'll have to keep an eye open at estate sales!
I love carnations--mostly for their scent.
Thank you for stopping by. Husband had a great time putting this tablescape together. It was all his plan and execution. Of course I helped by pulling out the flatware, glasses, and napkins.

Oh boy what pretty china~! So many people say they don't like carnations but I adore them too! Yeah for us!
Love your dishes, love your tablecloth, love love.. but I really love how that one flower bud reflects the flatware.. look at the bud and then look at the spoon, it could be it's shadow! Happy I stopped in.. Have a nice day. Jules ♥
A lovely tablescape with gorgeous china and very special stemware. During a long time carnations were considered to be very oldfashioned in Europe. But nowadays they start to get popular again and you see them more often in flowershops. I adore carnations because it is such a delicate flower which adds a touch of romanticism on every tablescape.
