The quilt is a large wall hanging I made using star patterns from Alex Anderson's book Simply Stars. It has fabric with the Pledge of Allegiance, vote, and elephants and donkeys. All perfect for election day as well.
The flatware is my everyday stuff, Community by Oneida. We got 13 place settings when we got married 25 years ago. However, not quite service for 12 anymore. Where does flatware go? I think in the garbage when overzealous visiting children helped with the table clearing.
I am linking with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

How pretty! What a beautiful quilt on your table. Red white and blue are always among my favorite tablescape colors.
Stunning! Every element is beautiful!
Jeanine, I love your tablescape, and I think it was brilliant to use a quilt with stars for Memorial Day. I love how you coordinated this with the touches of red and blue on the plates, napkins, and candles. Very nice job!
Happy Tablescape Thursday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
That quilt is so pretty and how clever to use it as a table cloth for your tablescape. I love it.

Spectacular quilt! I love that you mixed the napkins too, very pretty!
What a beautiful table setting! That quilt is just amazing! I can't imagine having such talent. I like the square red on the round white. The variety in napkins looks great too. I know what you mean about disappearing silverware.
I love your table-especialy the quilt for a tablecloth. You've done a great job-Thanks for sharing with us!
Stunning table! That quilt is just incredibly beautiful, and the way you've layered the solid-colored dishes really lets it shine. Love the touch of the mix-and-match napkins!

The table is beautiful!
I love all the textures and colors!
I am envious of anyone who can quilt--my grandmother died before getting around to showing me how--but thankfully, there are many tutorials on youtube now :)
Anyway, I wanted to tell you "Hi", that I am so glad you stopped by my home, and that I got your entry for the birdcage giveaway, thank you so much!
And it's nice to meet a sister in Christ!
Blessings to you as you make your home!

Jeannine, your Memorial Day table is just stupendous! I adore the quilt that you've made & you've given the idea to take one with stars down off the wall of my sewing room & use it for July 4th. I hope I can remember!
I'm sure it needs washed anyway, too.
Beautiful post, from beginning to end!
Beautiful table, Jeannine! I love the idea of using the quilts as a table cloth. My grandmother taught me to quilt and sadly I'm never able to do it. I do have a bunch of her quilts in my house though. I love this idea on how to use them. (still laughing at how I found your blog...)
