Girly Pink Tablescape

I love playing with my dishes! Husband and I bought this set of Johnson Bros. dishes at a garage sale last fall for around $30. It is a complete set for eight. I thought I had put a tablescape together using them, but when I was recently going back through my posts, I realized I hadn't.

So for Tablescape Thursday, I went all out with the pink rose theme. Husband said it's a girly table. Well, aren't most of them? When your dishes are pink and roses...

I've used the rose flatware before and the tablecloth. The napkins are KMart clearance from two summers ago. Husband and I ran out to get pink roses for the centerpiece but we found these wonderful peonies instead. My mom had peonies in the yard when I was little, but we never brought any in. Strange.

We found these glasses at an estate sale last Saturday. There are three sizes, twelve each. You'll see more of those another day.

Thanks for stopping by and being girly with me. Make sure you jump over to Between Naps on the Porch for other great tables.

Oh, those peonies are perfect for this table! I love the roses on the china with the pink cloth centering the table -- just elegant and lovely!

I can't decide if I am getting old or turning into a girlie girl because I have developed a fondness for pink as of lately. Pretty table.

May be, it looks somehow a bit girly with the pink tablerunner but what's wrong with being girly. The china is really stunning and the pattern is sooo nice. I love the scalloped relief on it. And you have even the matching roses flatware. Looks great together. The peonies accomplish the colors very well.
Greetings, Johanna

We all love the girly pink! Your dishes are lovely. I recently picked up some Johnson Bros Plates at Goodwill and am trying to identify them, so I have been scouring the pattern pictures. Yours are some of the prettiest I have seen. And your glassware is so lovely, too. Very pretty - thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Jeannine! I'm so glad you commented on my blog so I could discover yours. I love making things beautiful, sewing, quilting and all things girly. Unfortunately we live overseas so it can get challenging and sometimes I have to live vicariously through other peoples eye for beauty- love what I see on your blog! God bless!
